Many larger public libraries have a Family History section. Resources may include NZ birth, death and marriage indexes, cemetery data bases, directories, electoral rolls, military indexes, probate indexes and shipping passenger lists and more.

Closest large libraries to Waihi are Tauranga, Hamilton and The Thames Treasury. Charges may apply.

The Hauraki District Council libraries subscribe to www.ancestry.com.au (library version).
